Today is my beautiful daughter Elizabeth's 8th birthday!!! She is our second oldest and is one amazing girl. Elizabeth is such a joy and it is awesome to see her growing into an amazing young lady. She is the animal-lover of our family and is loving the kitty that she got for her birthday. Daddy, not so much. She named her new kitty Lily. I've got a couple of other names for her.
Thank you Jesus, for my beautiful Elizabeth. Happy Birthday my beautiful girl.

I know you're not thrilled about Lily, but I can guarantee you it means the world to Elizabeth. The rare moment that dad actually said yes and allowed me my own cat for the first time was huge in my life. I was 8 too. You're a great dad and I'm glad you are giving her the chance to have her own pet.
