As we kicked-off our new parenting series Dazed & Confused, we celebrated Mother's Day weekend by having our children in Cornerstone Kids come up on stage and sing one of their favorite worship songs. Our leaders in C-Kids are doing a phenomenal job of pouring into our little ones and teaching them to follow Christ. It was a powerful moment and needless to say, our church was moved and inspired. As I saw our little ones singing their hearts out, God reminded me of Psalm 127:3 "Children are a gift from the Lord, they are a reward from him."
Not only did we have our kids bless us with a song this past weekend, we also kicked-off a powerful ministry opportunity for everyone in our church to be a part of. We handed out baby bottles provided to us from the Pregnancy Testing Centers of the Rio Grande Valley and throughout our parenting series we will be filling up our baby bottles with an offering that will go to support this powerful, life-changing ministry in the Valley. We will bring our bottles together on Father's Day weekend when we wrap up our parenting series.
I am so excited about partnering with the Pregnancy Testing Centers of the RGV. They are a powerful and valuable ministry with an awesome vision to reach out to mothers in crisis pregnancies and protect life. They live out Psalm 127:3!
